run: 15:00 min., 7.0 spd 1.73 miles.
ride 22:00 min., 82 rpm, 6.5 miles.

hung out with half the ward tonight getting horribly lost on the way to see this band that sounded like meg white's band if she ever had her own. finally home and at ease. i don't think i was ever meant for parties. i suppose i'm not a very social person. saw this massive flying preying mantis tonight. reminded me of zorak, which reminds me of many things.

today i got off early and you have no clue how happy that makes me. congress wasn't in session today because of the national day of prayer of speeches and moments of silence day. so five o'clock got to end my mail day (my first). chipotle, a five minute walk away is so dangerously delectable.

kim finally got the basket and loved it. so now i feel bad because i've been mad at keri that it's taken so long. my ipod is out on the [illegible] board and there are a ton of people over. luckily it's just ward people. i'm staring at my gum [or gun] thinking of what to say. [i honestly don't know what any of that means.]

i keep seeing this girl around that looks exactly like jennifer krueger. she lives back east around here somewhere but i'm pretty sure she doesn't live in arlington though. but how nuts would that be?

i swear i saw alec baldwin a few days ago. i was going into that swank mall up the escalator and he was going down about twenty feet away. he had a sweet suit on, was holding dry cleaning (which was my only hint that it was might not be him), was tall, had kinda not the best complexion, which is what i think alec is like without makeup, was just a tad chubby, and looked almost sweaty and in a hurry. and his face looked exactly like him. i mean, an exact match.

i just got the greatest hair cut ever. it rivals the black guy at the great clips by tom's. her name is haciba and is from south america or something. it's so cool seeing this black culture thing. like seeing black people get their hair done for the first time. or at nordy seeing black people working there and seeing them shop too. funny because their men's shoe guys are all tall, big black guys in white or silver suits, all with some african dialect.

any sort of tan i once had this summer is hardly noticeable since i have no time to do it anymore. sucks because the sun here is perfect for it. humidity would kill me though. where once i had more time than anyone, i now have none. at night i have to pick and choose what i do because there's never enough time in the day or week to get them all done.

i keep thinking about how much fun i had with ryan driving here.

how does one become a commuter/metro style train operator?

i'm in the beautiful gallery of photographs from the late 1930s to early 40s. they have all been digitally colorized and are all so amazing. saw the gutenberg bible and the map that first showed north and south america and the pacific.

so george washington university and foggy bottom suck. couldn't find anything fun and i got totally lost. because i'm a big loser, i've found it very interesting that there is a huge variety of out of state cars in the parking garage. they include: va, md, ut, nc, tx, oh, ny, il, mn, ak, sc, or, nj, fl, la, in, ma, tn, wi, al, pn, ca, ia, dc, puerto rico, and canadia.

at georgetown university and didn't even get that lost. this place sucks though. they let them put up flyers all over the place so there are papers and trash everywhere. the student center place is horrible. and the freaking law school isn't even on campus. the grass sucks, weather is nice but let me tell you how lame this is. they have cannons outside one of their main buildings and they may as well be cardboard replicas.

on the phones now. [at work, every few days for an hour i'm in the front office doing front office stuff. this happens to be one of those times.]

run: 15:00 min, 7.0 speed, 1.73 miles.

bo derek called the office today and i freaking talked to her! she was calling to talk to the boss about a vote today. i even got her number. highlight of the day.

run: 15:00 min, 7.5 speed, 1.85 miles.
